We must cherish and defend books as symbols of hope and dialogue. Books have long embodied the human capacity to conjure up worlds, real and imagined, giving voiceto the diversity of human experience.World Book Day (23rd April) stresses the importance of reading and reminds us that we should all have the privilege of being able to read. All the students of the Junior School celebrated this by enthusiastically engaging in reading their favourite story books.
