World Heritage day is observed on 18th of April each year. This day encourages us to celebrate the world’s cultures, and to bring awareness about the diversity of cultural heritage and preserving it for generations in the future. Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, the Calcutta yellow taxi, trams and hand-pulled rickshaws are an integral part of the heritage of Kolkata. To create awareness among our students they were introduced to these famous icons via pictures and slides.

As an extension of Heritage Day,children were encouraged to collect old coins and notes available at home and share them in the online class with their classmates.
