Four students from IVWS participated in an innovative two-day “Waste to Art-Installation Making Workshop” at Victoria Memorial Hall in celebration of Earth Day 2025. The workshop, led by renowned artist Shri Umesh Chandra Behera, took place on April 21-22 and taught participants how to transform scrap materials into artistic installations.

The students—Arnab Jordar (Class VIIID), Pranjali Jana (Class VIIC), Bihan Sen and Tanishka Pramanik (both Class XB)—gained valuable experience in sustainable art practices and eco-friendly lifestyle approaches. They received participation certificates and were thrilled to learn their creations will be exhibited in the South Lawns of Victoria Memorial until April 30.
