The school received 200 saplings from the Forest Department on the occasion of Van Mahotsav week. This was facilitated by Mr. Joydip Kundu of SHER. To generate awareness saplings of flowering and fruit bearing plants like Kanchan , Karabi, Jamun and Jarul were distributed free among the students of the Middle School,our teachers and staff who promised to plant them in their homes. Besides this students accompanied by our teachers and school gardener planted several saplings in the school neighbourhood and alongside a neighbouring pond as a part of our continuous aim to protect our environment.
