Indus Valley World School hosted Unmesh, an interschool workshop event, on 19th September 2026. The event brought together students of classes VI and VII from 13 Kolkata schools, along with the host school, for a vibrant celebration of creativity, keeping in mind the theme as “International Day of Peace”. Alokananda Roy, the internationally acclaimed exponent of Indian Classical Dance, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The day featured diverse workshops on mime, theatre, folk music, dance, nukkad natak, elocution, culinary art, puppetry, craft, pottery, and radio jockeying. Students engaged enthusiastically, showcasing talent and collaboration. Unmesh successfully fostered artistic expression, cultural appreciation, and interschool camaraderie, leaving participants inspired and enriched.
