On 23rd June, Indus Valley World School played host to 14 city schools as through workshops and competitive events the culture of Bengal was celebrated.
The morning saw an inaugural programme that was followed by students from different schools participating in the following:

Alpona Workshop
Elocution Workshop
Music ( Rabindra Sangeet)
Dance ( Rabindra Nritya)
Painting inspired by a Rabindra Sangeet
Creative Writing in Bengali
Vocabulary and Spelling Quiz in Bengali

We were delighted with the response from a packed auditorium that saw thunderous applause in the closing ceremony as IVWS was declared the champion school and very gracefully they handed over the Runners-Up trophy to Garden High School.
