West Bengal Federation of United Nations Association had organised a symposium on “Does United Nations have relevance in today’s world affairs?” on 25th October, 2018 at ICCR to commemorate the 73rd year of foundation of the United Nations. The event was graced by the presence of Secretary General- WBFUNA, Consul General of Japan, VC of Jadavpur University, Deputy Consul General of Russia. Eminent schools of Kolkata like St. Xavier’s Collegiate School, La Martiniere, Heritage School among others were represented by their delegates. Indus Valley World School was represented by Shristi Chaurasia of XI Science as the Speaker and fourteen other delegates from the Higher Secondary section.
