Teacher Training Programme at Uluberia
25th August 2025
Interact Club Activity Report
On Saturday, 23rd August 2025, three teachers from Indus Valley World School, under the banner of the Interact Club, visited Rajapur Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama (Rotary Chowringhee Vidyalaya) to conduct a teacher training session for the teachers of Grades 2 to 5. This session was one of the many training programmes planned as part of a year-long initiative aimed at strengthening teaching practices in the Ashrama school.
The day proved to be a wonderful and meaningful experience for all involved. The dedicated teachers of the Ashrama actively participated in the training, sharing their methodologies, curriculum, and teaching aids. While they are doing commendable work, they welcomed new ideas from the IVWS team on making classrooms more activity-oriented and engaging for young learners.
The children of the school were also delighted by the presence of the IVWS teachers, showing great enthusiasm and eagerness to interact with them. The IVWS team also appreciated the well-equipped school library, which offers a wide range of books and board games for the children.
Through this teacher training programme, the Interact Club continues its mission of social service by empowering educators, sharing resources, and fostering sustainable educational growth. More such sessions will follow as part of this year-long programme, ensuring continued collaboration and impact.
