June 4- 12, 2018- Indus Valley World had organized an eight-day summer camp for students of classes VI-XII. A plethora of activities were offered for the mental and physical enhancement of children. Children not only thoroughly enjoyed the camp but also took back much learning from it.
The day would start with yoga and meditation followed by ‘Art of Living’.
Theatre workshop was conducted by Mr. Tathagata Chowdhury (Founder of Theatrecian and media personality) and his competent team over a period of seven days that culminated in 2 stage productions on the eighth day.
Life skills sessions were conducted by Ms. Arundhati Mazumder (Certified Trainer in Soft Skills, empanelled with TCS and Skill Academy of India) focussing on the enhancing the emotional intelligence.
Self-defence classes were conducted for both boys and girls, keeping in mind the call of the time. Some essentially practical moves and techniques were taught to the students.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Music Therapy’ sessions with Ms. Mohua Roy and her team of professional therapists. Music can become a way of life, students unanimously agreed to that once the session concluded.
In all, the students truly had a thrilling and an enriching experience.
