Kolkata, 17th January 2017 : Citius, Altius, Fortius ( Faster, Higher, Stronger ). These three words perfectly portrayed the sportsmanship with which the children of IVWS participated in the Annual Sports Meet of the Junior Section of the school, held on 17th January 2017, at the Gitanjali Stadium Ground. Indus Valley World School sports meet had all the ingredients of an Olympics because it was entertaining, had the touch of Gymnastics, Yoga, relay, races, hurdles and many other events which held the spectators spell bound.

The programme was initiated by the Thanksgiving Parade where the Toddlers happily marched. It was colourful and exciting as the youngest ones of the IVWS family paraded with dazzling smiles on their faces. The Chief Guest of the morning was Mr. V. Solomon Nesakumar, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Kolkata Police (Traffic-kolkata ) and he addressed the audience and declared the Sports meet open.
