On 1st February 2023, the students and teachers of Indus Valley World School were privileged to listen to a lec-dem by sitar exponent Indrajit Roy Chowdhury from New York. He was accompanied on the tabla by Sanjib Pal. The artist played Raga Ahir Bhairav and concluded the mesmerising session through a question answer session with the students. This performance was his homage to his teacher, Guru Pandit Subroto Roychowdhury on his birth anniversary. It was made possible due to his daughter Sohini Roychowdhury Dasgupta who facilitated the presentation through SohiniMoksha. We are grateful to her and the artist for providing this beautiful exposure to our students.
