A day dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, who is believed to be the patron of knowledge, music, arts, philosophy, creativity and wisdom. Vasant Panchami or Saraswati Puja is an important festival that marks the culmination of winter and the arrival of spring. The children of the Pre- primary section celebrated Saraswati Puja on 15th February 2021.
Children dressed up in their favourite festive attire and performed Saraswati vandanas. They chanted shlokas, recited poems and danced to the tune of festive songs. Teachers discussed the importance of taking care of books. As a part of their art and craft activity children made swan with paper strips. It is said that the greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals. Parents, teachers and the students showed great enthusiasm in celebrating Saraswati Puja with utmost devotion and love.
