Indus Valley World School, organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted Class 11 students of 2025-26 session along with the faculty members of the institute at the school auditorium on 16th April 2025.
The major objective of the programme was to make the students aware of the academic aspects of the course and the related career options The students were addressed by the coordinator Ms Anu Khosla, who welcomed the students and gave them an introduction regarding the academic disciplines.
The Orientation Programme revolved around bridging the gap between the students & the faculty and set an outline for the students about their career goal & how to work on it. It also aimed to make the students aware of the various co-curricular and extra activities which will enhance their overall development.
Students were informed about the modification in the syllabus,possible colleges for admission and career prospects not only for the new subjects like Sociology, Psychology,Accountancy, Business Studies, Commercial Arts, Computer Science, Informatics Practises which they will be pertaining for the first time, but also the plethora of traditional subjects that are offered at IVWS, ranging from subjects Physics, Biology, Chemistry, History and Geography.
It goes without saying that the programme was sure to help the students on focussing towards their academic and career goals. Overall it was a structured event that was weaved with information and emphasized the practical path that lay ahead for the students.
