On 8th May 2019, the Indus Valley world School presented, ‘Ohe Shundoro’-an ode to the prolific genius of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. The Chief Guest was the famous dancer Ms.. Tanushree Shankar and the Guest of Honour Ms.Chaitali Dasgupta.The theme of Beauty was explored through a plethora of songs, dances, poems and drama. The presentation began with exploring Tagore’s writings on Nature. This was followed by the exploration of Beauty in the inner and external self of Man. This was presented through an excerpt from Chitrangada. The last segment of the programme was an exploration of the beauty of spirituality in the writings of the Bard. A scintillating effort of over 200 students and their teachers saw the show being appreciated as a grand success by the audience.
