Indus Valley World School, in association with West Bengal Federation of United Nations Association, CINI (Children in Need Institution), 91.9 Friends FM and Bobby Chakraborty organised a Puja Parikrama for the under privileged children of the society on 19th October, Shashthi. The children got inside the IVWS Luxury bus from their home near Minerva Theatre and were flagged off by Mr. Rajiv Maheswari, the Secretary General of WBFUNA. The children were accompanied by Mr. Maheshwari, Bobby Chakraborty , Ms Anuradha Gupta, Ms Avirupa Bhattacharjee (Teachers,IVWS), Saransh Agarwal and Projit Roy Choudhury (Students, IVWS) and coordinators from CINI throughout the trip. The children were taken around Puja Pandals in the city where they got to witness the real essence of the festival. The trip was a very enjoyable one with all the students dancing to songs along with Bobby Chakraborty. A sumptuous lunch and various snacks were also distributed among everyone. All in all it will remain a memorable day for the children as well as all those who were part of this event.
