National Unity Day (also known as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) is celebrated every year on 31st October by the people throughout India. It is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who played an instrumental role in India’s struggle for independence, and later during the integration of the country. A special assembly was organised to pay homage to the Iron Man of India. Our Vice-Principal elucidated on the importance of this day after which the students took a pledge to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity and security of our nation.
