We were delighted to create a unique parent teacher collaboration where 50 parents took the stage alongside the IVWS faculty to present a multi- sensorial extravaganza titled Monsoon Melodies. A complete in house production from script, design, choreography,training and direction we are extremely proud of the presentation that took place on 30th July 2022.
The welcome address was delivered by the Principal Ms. Reshma Bhattacharya which was followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Odissi dance exponent Ms. Sharmila Biswas and the Guest of Honour Director IIHM Ms. Sanjukta Bose alongside our CEO Mr. S.L.Gupta and other distinguished guests.

The concert began thereafter which saw the mothers take the stage where they wove together the story of the rains with sheer grace and tremendous joy. The visual extravaganza was the story of letters exchanged between a mother and her daughter where they shared their thoughts through poetry and songs. The graceful dances by the mothers alongside the teachers were highly appreciated by all present. The singing was of an extremely high quality and the audience was overwhelmed by their performance. As our Director Ms. Amita Prasad said at the end to all the parents just like the ABBA song, ‘Thank you for the music and for giving it to us,’ as it will resonate with us long after it would be heard no more. We are delighted to have made this production happen as the camaraderie between the parents and teachers will be treasured forever.
