The Investiture Ceremony for the Student Council for the Academic session 2019-2020 was held on 17 May in the school auditorium. The Chief Guest for the programme was Mr.Raju Raman the former Programme Director of the Goethe Institute/Max Mueller Bhavan and presently the Programme Consultant of the Victoria Memorial Hall and guest lecturer for German, Communication, Public Speaking, Personality Development and Film Studies at various institutions and universities.

The programme began with a Vedic hymn that was followed by the marching in of the office bearers. They were led by the School Captain who was followed by the Sports Captain and Vice captain and the Co-Curricular Captain and Vice Captain. They were followed by the office bearers from Brahmaputra,Ganga, Indus and Yamuna houses. They were badged by the Principal and Vice Principal of the school after which they were sworn into office by the Director of the school. The second segment of the programme saw the Senior and Junior Prefects from Classes 9-12 and the Middle School being badged by the Academic Head of Class 11 & 12, the Dean of Arts and the Middle School Coordinator. They were sworn into office by the Director of the school. The programme ended with the recessional march followed by the address of the Chief Guest.
