On August 2, 2025, Indus Valley World School hosted the installation ceremony of its Interact Club, marking a significant milestone in the school’s commitment to fostering leadership and community service among its students. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries from the parent Rotary Chowringhee, President Vidhi Beri, Past President Gaurav Gupta, Rtn Manisha Shrivastava, Past District Governor Rajani Mukherjee, PDG Rtn  Prabir Chatterjee, PDG Rtn Rajani Mukherjee, DICC Mrs. Arpita Chatterjee, interactors from B.D.M International, and parents of past and present board members.

The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. Principal Reshma Bhattacharya addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of Interact Club’s role in shaping young leaders and promoting social responsibility. The highlight of the event was the oath-taking ceremony of the new board members comprising Protyasha Biswas as President, Rudransh Singh as Vice President, Aaratrika Ray as Secretary, and Ansuman Saha as Treasurer.

Debankita Roy, the outgoing President, passed on the baton to Protyasha Biswas, wishing her and the team all the best for their tenure. A significant moment of the ceremony was the unveiling of Rotary’s theme “Unite for Good,” which all interactors pledged to uphold. This theme underscores the Rotary’s mission to bring people together for a common good, fostering a sense of unity and purpose among its members .

The installation ceremony not only symbolizes the transfer of responsibilities to new leaders but also represents the school’s dedication to holistic education, emphasizing the development of leadership skills, social awareness, and community service.
