12th September IS the day that highlighted the significance of Hindi as one of our richest indigenous languages and a powerful medium of cultural expression.
The celebrations began with the Pre-Primary and Grade I students presenting delightful Hindi recitations. Grade II students engaged the audience with expressive Hindi storytelling, narrating simple yet impactful tales that emphasized moral values.
The special assembly conducted by students of Grades III–V commenced with the serene chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, followed by a touching Hindi poem dedicated to Hindi Diwas, and a thoughtful speech on the importance of embracing and appreciating indigenous languages. The students then took the Hindi Diwas pledge, affirming their commitment to preserve and promote the use of Hindi in daily life.
The celebration included a lively nukkad natak (street play), where the children portrayed the importance of Hindi in uniting the nation .
Students of grades 6 to 12 also had a grand Hindi Diwas celebration. The participants enthusiastically highlighted the significance of the Hindi language through poetry, songs, dance and a unique Doha Antakshari.
The Hindi Diwas celebration served as a motivation to other students fostering cultural awareness and national identity among them.
