Hargila Friends

08th August 2025

Our young learners from LKG and UKG put up a delightful musical skit on the Hargila bird, also known as the Greater Adjutant Stork on 2nd August 2025. Their performance beautifully conveyed the significance of this unique bird in maintaining ecological balance and the urgent need to protect it from extinction.

To extend their learning beyond the stage, the children enthusiastically took part in a range of creative activities — from drawing and stencil printing on eco-friendly bags made from waste fabric, to solving themed worksheets. These interactive experiences deepened their understanding of conservation and the small yet meaningful steps we can all take to safeguard nature.

Addressing the gathering, our Headmistress Ms. Deborina Roy shared how the school embraces cross-disciplinary learning. She emphasised that education here goes beyond textbooks. Children are taught empathy, responsibility and values that shape them into thoughtful individuals.

Parents, who attended the event in support of their children, shared encouraging feedback. They appreciated the growing confidence in their little ones and praised how the school is helping them learn far beyond academics, equipping them with skills for the future.
