On 11th June, Indus Valley World School felicitated the board toppers and high achievers of SSE and SSCE of 2025 in its school auditorium in a grand ceremony. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, renowned educationist Ms Indrani Ganguly. IVWS was honoured and privileged to have Mr Sushil Poddar, a prominent figure in the trade association circuit as the Guest of Honour for the day and other dignitaries to encourage the students. The programme began on a traditional note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, CEO Mr S.L Gupta, Principal Ms Reshma Bhattacharya, Vice Principal and Administrator Ms Madhumita Seal, and other heads of the school. In the welcome address, Mrs Bhattacharya congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the students on their stellar performance in the boards and set the tone for the day. After the soulful rendition of the prayer song, students enthralled the audience by presenting Ganesh Vandana through their impeccable dance performance. Amidst a huge round of applause, the honoured guests and dignitaries were felicitated on stage by the Principal, Vice Principal and Mr S.L Gupta. The students displayed unabated excitement as the overall board toppers of grade X, Diyasmi Pal and grade XII, Koneenika Basak were felicitated with tabs, medals and certificates for scoring a whopping 98.8% and 99.2% respectively. Then it was the turn of the 34 high achievers being recognized for their stupendous aggregate of 95% and above followed by the subject toppers, many of whom scored a perfect 100 in subjects like Mathematics, Science, AI, Psychology, Sociology, Commercial Art, Home Science and Informatics Practices. Another highlight of the day’s programme was the special prizes handed over to two students, Siddhardh Manchiraju of grade 10 securing 90.4% despite having specific learning disability and microcephaly and of grade XII-Ashutosh Sarangi, a cancer survivor for their outstanding courage and perseverance. The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour lauded the undaunting grit and determination of the young achievers and encouraged them to face challenges and stay focused in the path of life.
