Earth Day for the Juniors

30th April 2019

On Earth Day the pre – primary children were told about the importance of trees and water and the negative effects of cutting down trees.

The children of Lower Infant were given pots, soil and seeds to plant. The idea behind the project was to make the young minds aware of the fact that we need to plant more trees to save the planet Earth.

The children of upper Infant enjoyed colouring and pasting sand on the picture of Earth, where sand was used to show the effects of diminishing forest cover on Earth.
