The idea was to help children of well to do families understand the value of what they have and the importance of sharing with those who are less fortunate.
Collaborative activities like rangoli making and burning of phuljharis was enjoyed thoroughly by the students and the children of the slums with the parents and teachers helping them. This was followed by a fireworks display for everyone that was a huge success.
