Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November across India as a tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, fondly called ‘Chacha Nehru’, who was known for his affection for children.
The Pre-Primary department of Indus Valley World School celebrated Children’s Day on 12th of November 2020.Our children are not only names in our class lists; they are a part of our hearts. With this belief, the teachers of the Pre Primary department organised different activities with great enthusiasm and love for their tiny tots. The little ones felt special as they were dressed in their best and enjoyed participating in activities like Toon Talks, Down the Memory Lane, My Reflection, Mimic Me, Food Quiz, Guess the Tune and Scavengers Hunt. They danced their hearts out to their favourite songs. Teachers also sang, recited poems and performed skits for the children to make them feel special.
