On 15th February the batch of Grade X were invited to school with their parents. A beautiful blessing ceremony is organised every year where the students are blessed by their teachers and parents before they start with their CBSE examinations. The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by a prayer song.The gathering saw the distribution of prizes in the spheres of academics, co-curricular activities and sports by the Director and Principal of the school. The students were reminded of the rules of the examination by the Principal Ms. Reshma Bhattacharya. Mrs. Amita Prasad, Director of IVWS led everyone in prayer and requested the parents and teachers to bless the students. The programme ended with a hymn of blessing followed by the School Song and the National Anthem.
