The students and teachers at Indus Valley World School decided to welcome the festive season by embarking on a journey of learning through giving. Over the last one month, students from Classes 5-10 contributed freely, food rations and new clothes for blind children from an NGO called Premasree. The UN calendar marks 1 October as the International Day for Old Persons. The school invited residents of two homes, namely Navanir and Shaanti Elderly Care to share in the festivities.The Agomoni programme held on 27 September 2019 turned out to be a magical morning where the atmosphere was one of giving, caring, loving and sharing.The students from Premasree performed for the audience with a lot of enthusiasm and it was heartening to see a packed auditorium responding with tremendous applause.The Agomoni programme presented by over a hundred students from the Indus Valley World School. was coupled with the blessings of the elderly and the love of the blind students as our students attended to them to make their time with us one of joy and giving.
