Eight students from Grades III-IX participated in the 24 Parganas District School Chess Competition 2020, hosted by Jyotirmoy Public School, Sonarpur on 23rdand 24thJanuary 2020.
The school team grabbed the third position.

The individual results are as follows:

1. Rohan Biswas of VIII C emerged as the champion in the Under 14 category(boys)
2. Shreyashi Daitary of IV A won the third prize for Under 10 category(girls).
3. Rajdeep Pratihari of VI E won the third prize in the Under 14 category(boys)
4. Aakriti Jagwani secured the fourth position in Under 10 category (girls)
5. Satadru Ash of V A secured the fifth position in the Under 10 category (boys)
6. Suryashish Mazumdar of III B secured the fifth position in the Under 12 category (boys).
7. Debanjan Ray of IX E secured the fourth position in the Open Section.
