Installation Ceremony of the District Interact Council
The Installation Ceremony of the District Interact Council was held on August 13, 2025, at Indus Valley World School. The event, coordinated by DICC Arpita Chatterjee, brought together esteemed rotarians, including District Governor Dr. Ramendu Hom Chaudhuri, past DGs Prabir Chatterjee and Rajani Mukherjee, Advisor Rtn Sulaghna Daw, Co-chair Nilanjan Sen, AG Youth
Service Rtn Samrat Sengupta, and the B.D.M International Director Suman Sood.
The ceremony began with a heartfelt message from Arpita Maam, followed by the Principal of Indus Valley World School, who emphasized the message Unite for Good The team IVWS then presented a captivating inaugural dance performance. A highlight of the event was the pinning of badges to the Literacy, Thalassemia, and Mental Health Awareness ambassadors. Dr. Hom Chaudhuri shared informative videos on Thalassemia to raise awareness.
As the former council members stepped down, the new council members took center stage. Notably, Debankita Roy was appointed Sergeant-at-Arms at the district level. The 18 newly appointed members pledged to contribute positively to their roles. The ceremony concluded on a promising note, with the new council members ready to make a difference.
