On 11th February 2023, Indus Valley World School welcomed the iconic educator Dr. Swati Popat Vats. The day long programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp as Dr. Vats was welcomed to Kolkata. The morning session saw the charismatic Dr. Popat Vats discuss the main features of the NCF with nearly 90 teachers from across the city. The three hour session had every teacher present in the auditorium riveted to their seats. The afternoon saw an interactive session with city school leaders as Dr. Vats discussed and debated about how to straddle the new challenges thrown up in the sphere of education. She emphasised the collective strength that leaders in education can display by sharing a common vision.
