I joined IVWS in 2011 in Upper Infants and continued the journey until Class 12. I feel truly blessed that I have been with IVWS through these crucial and formative years of my life.  I will be pursuing biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. The love and encouragement from my teachers shaped me into who I am today. Their unwavering support, guidance, and positive reinforcement instilled confidence in me.  At each and every step, the teachers provided a positive environment where I could improve further. IVWS has been my second home, and I’m deeply grateful for the influence of all my teachers, which will forever remain close to my heart. Thank you, teachers.

This is to let you know my appreciation for the entire teaching staff of IVWS.

My son has been a student of the school since Class KG and it has been a beautiful journey since the first day he walked in. In the last 2 years as a threatening pandemic struck, we as parents were amazed at the seamless continuation of classes online. It must have been a herculean task for the teaching staff to adapt to a new form of teaching technique which was completely different from what has been done so long. No words are enough to convey our gratitude and appreciation. Teaching from text books and imparting ‘education’ both may not mean the same but we must admit that both were done with so much of elan and grace that we can simply say, “Take a bow”.

Wishing the management, the entire teaching and non teaching staff tons of gratitude and thankfulness. Shine on Team IVWS!

Shayak Ghosh, Parent-Teacher Meeting

We are extremely happy with Shayak’s progress at IVWS so far, and would like to thank you and the other teachers for all the sincere and caring efforts which made this possible.

It has been only a month or so at IVWS, and Shayak appears to be already learning a lot. We find that Shayak has developed a keen interest in studies and related academic activities. He enjoys the online classes. Shayak appears to be more proficient in applying his knowledge and skill sets aptly to real-time situations, which reflects development of his analytical mind. He is showing signs of leadership qualities, and appears to be less shy now-a-days.

We would like to thank Shayak’s teachers for everything, especially the excellent teaching material and methodologies, which keeps our son engaged, wanting to learn more.

As Teachers’ Day is celebrated today, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you and acknowledge you all for being the guiding force of our kids during this unprecedented difficult time. Although Covid 19 has taken a toll on our lives and disrupted it in many ways, you have made things easier for us and particularly for our kids ensuring them smooth learning with your dedication, genuity and sensibility during this crisis.

Thank you for rising to the occasion and demonstrating great effort and determination to make distance learning an excellent experience. While the loss of physical classroom environment is disheartening, the work you are doing matters a lot and will be remembered for a long time.

We know that you all are balancing the challenging demands of simultaneously managing the family, teaching and parenting. We would like to stand up and applaud you as we are all navigating uncharted waters together.

Please take care of yourselves and stay safe. We love you and adore you all.

I can’t thank the School Administration enough for the arrangements made for online teaching and ever more grateful in particular to the entire Teachers’ board for the seamless effort in making my son cope up with the changed environment.

From receiving books to stationary or the class schedules with hand-holding on the online process – All of it went smooth.

Now let me talk about my experience with my child’s immediate Teachers. From being connected with every child to ensure the classes run as per schedule to sharing of worksheets and those constant touch over emails or calls have all been fantastic.

I must add on the teaching mechanism – ‘Learning can be fun’: IVWS proves this right in every instance

Grade 1 Parent

Firstly, our heartfelt gratitude for being the main catalyst in our son’s step forward to Grade II.
Like every parent, we too were worried and stressed when the pandemic broke and our child almost lost one precious year of his learning journey.
But the way both you, the mentor and our child coped with the new normal of Digital Education.
Term 1 was all about adjusting to the new normal and gradually we started noticing a more confident, more conversant and more energetic child in his online classes.
Thank You Ma’am for building the base for these kids and that too without any physical interaction- which one could never think of before March 2020.

I really appreciate the hard work and efforts taken by each teacher to help the students. It’s a crucial year for board students and the syllabus got completed in time. All the exams were organized properly. Even various interschool debate competitions and other extracurricular activities were organized online. It was not an easy situation for anyone but IVWS had taken all necessary steps so that students do not suffer and are guided properly.”
