Letter To Parents

22nd March 2020

Dear Parents,
As you already know, we have closed school up to 15.04.20 and the school office will remain closed up to 31.03 20. As responsible citizens, it is our duty to abide by the Government notification in this regard and do our bit to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are trying our best to deal with this unprecedented situation. Here are a few updates:

  • Students are not expected to attend school until the government allows us to reopen. The date of reopening will be notified through our website and via SMS.
  • • REPORT CARDS: Hard copies of the Report Cards (Grades 1 – 8) will be handed over after the government allows us to reopen school. However, we are mailing soft copies of the Report Cards (Grades 3 – 8) to the registered email ID of the guardian as per the school records. In case you do not receive the Report Card by Monday 23rd March 2020, please write to admin@ivws.org
  • • PRIZES: Since we could not hold the Prize Distribution ceremony as scheduled, all prizes will be given out along with the hard copies of the Reports after school reopens.
  • • NEWSLETTER: We are keen to share with parents some of the highlights of the last year. The print version will be given to parents after school reopens. However, a soft copy will be mailed to you for your perusal as well as uploaded on our website for your convenience.
  • • TEXTBOOKS, EX-BOOKS AND STATIONERIES FOR THE NEW SESSION: Our book vendors are trying to make arrangements for online purchase and home delivery of textbooks, ex-books and stationeries for the convenience of parents. We are doing our best to make this possible and will keep parents informed. To get new books, ex-books and stationeries for the session 2020-21 online kindly mail to the below-mentioned address:
    support@getmybooks.com
    businesshead@getmybooks.com
    contact@getmybooks.com.

Please note that after receiving the confirmation mail the vendor will reply back with all relevant details at your email id, and the process may take time till 4th  / 5th of April 2020 depending on the prevailing situation. However, you will be duly notified about the developments.

Uniforms will be available once the school reopens.

  • • REVISION WORK: We urge parents to encourage the children to do some revision work during this time. Students of Grades 6 – 8 (2019 – 20) should make full use of ‘DeltaStep’ to practise Mathematics and English Language every day as well as strengthen their Science concepts through revision exercises. Children of all ages should use this time to read and indulge in other creative work. We will soon share with parents some free learning resources for children to use during the next few weeks.
  • • GRADES 10 & 12: We are doing our best to make arrangements for online classes and assignments for students so that they do not miss out on precious teaching time. We will keep you updated.
  • • REGULAR UPDATES: Kindly check your registered email and school website regularly for communication from the school.

We are confident that with the support of the parents and our collective efforts, we will tide over this difficult time. We take this opportunity to thank all parents for your cooperation. We pray that you and your families will stay safe and well.

For any queries, please contact 9830166042 or 9331412464 or send us an email to any of the ID s mentioned in your ward’s diary.

With our best wishes,
