Participation and Achievements at the Inter-School Fest

In a time and age when pace has become the pivotal point, reviving curiosity and zeal for a work like ‘The Little Prince’ augurs well for the course of education. A 14-member team represented Indus Valley World School at Felicity the annual literary festival hosted for classes 3,4,5 by Mahadevi Birla World Academy on 31st January 2025. The children immersed themselves wholeheartedly in the four segments of the event intended to drive them ‘From Reason to Reflection’. Vrishaan Kumar (5) brought in the first prize by performing tasks and solving riddles in the event MYSTERY MAVERICKS that also saw Aryashi Roy (4), Utkarsh Raaghav Roy (4) Inaaya Shaikh (5) participate.

For ARTWAVE EXTRAVAGANZA, Raisa Hasan (3), Amyra (4), Apabrito Samaddar (5), re-fashioned waste material to showcase the prince’s homeland of comfort and despair.

Class 5 students, Aarav Kumar and Suryabha Saha teamed up for CRUISING CRYPTOGRAMS using Scratch 2.0. It required them to create an interactive domain where the prince’s beloved characters were troubled.

The day’s events witnessed a fitting finale through the non-competitive performance of Ujaan Sanyal (3), Vanyu Ahren (3), Mainak Roy (4), Rankini Karmakar (4), Aarshi Pal (5) in the company of choristers from other participating schools. This segment ECHOES FROM ASTEROID B-612 necessitated preparing the children through a vocal workshop and focussed practice within a brief time span.
