On 19th September 2024, the Interact Club of IVWS invited its sister clubs from BDM International and Sri Sri Academy to collaborate and negotiate a better understanding of Peace. The programme was held with the support of the Rotary Club of Calcutta Chowrenghee District 3291.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by two performances from the students of IVWS. The keynote address was delivered by Ms.Sudeshna Roy, noted film maker, actor and writer. Being a member of the West Bengal government’s Child Rights Commission she delivered a stirring speech for all present.
The morning saw the students from the three schools participating in four workshops on Film Analysis, Theatre, Music and Clay Modelling conducted by eminent professionals. Each workshop emphasised the importance of resolving conflicts through peaceful means in the modern world.
